[ THE WALKTHROUGH ]

Your name is probably already here.

Most people who have worked on an Egyptian set are already in this archive, credited, with a page nobody has claimed yet. Here is what it looks like to walk in and take yours.

The short version

  1. Find your name
  2. Claim the page
  3. Make it yours

What actually happens, in order.

Five screens. You can do the first two without an account, and you will know within a minute whether we already have you.

  1. Type your own name.

The archive is built from real credits on real Egyptian productions, so the search is looking for how you were credited, not for a username. Try the Arabic spelling and the English one. Try the name your crew calls you.

    What you will see

A table of credited people, with the craft and the number of credits against each name.

    Search the people index
  2. Open the page. See what's there.

Every credited person has a page already. It lists the work we have found, oldest to newest, and the shape of the career that comes out of it. Nothing on it is guesswork, and nothing was written about you by us.

    What you will see

Your credits in a list, the productions they came from, and a line at the top that says nobody has claimed this yet.

  3. Say the words "this is me".

The button on the page is the whole flow. You tell us which credits are yours. You can add anything that backs it up: a production that will vouch for you, a link, an agent. Then a person here checks it.

    What you will see

A short form, a consent line, and a send button. No documents to scan.

  4. Add a face and voice.

Once the page is yours, it stops being an archive entry and starts being your profile. A headshot, the one detail your craft actually gets hired on, a reel if you have one. You can stop at any point.

    What you will see

A few quick screens, then your page goes public.

    Start your page
  5. Then it works while you sleep.

Your page is the thing a casting director, a line producer or a first AD lands on when they search for you. It's also the link you send when somebody asks what you have done. Add a credit whenever you finish a job and it keeps itself current.

    What you will see

One public link with your name on it, in both languages, that you did not have to build from scratch.

Not in there yet?

The archive is deep but it is not finished, and plenty of good people are not in it yet. Make an account and your page starts from your first credit instead of from nothing. You can add the work yourself, and we check it the same way.

A search box is all it takes to find out whether your work is already written down.
