Terms of Service

By creating an account or using any part of the service, whether as talent, a production, or a visitor, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; we will notify you of significant changes by email.

goat grids is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. You also confirm that the information you provide, including your name, contact details, and profile content, is accurate and up to date. Providing false information may result in your account being suspended or removed.

Actors, crew, voice-over artists, and content creators may create talent profiles on goat grids to be discovered by productions and to apply to open roles. As a talent user:

• You are responsible for keeping your profile accurate, including your credits, photos, skills, and availability.
• You may only upload content that you own or have the right to use. This includes photos, videos, and audio files.
• goat grids does not currently charge for any feature, and no payment is required to use any part of the service that is currently available. If we introduce paid features in future, section 7 explains how that would work.
• All uploaded content must be appropriate for a professional setting. We reserve the right to remove content that we deem offensive or inappropriate.

Production companies, casting directors, and hirers may use goat grids to post projects, search for talent, and manage applications. As a production user:

• All job and role postings must be for genuine, legitimate production opportunities. You may not post fabricated, misleading, or fraudulent listings.
• You may not use the service to collect personal data for purposes unrelated to your stated casting or production needs.
• You must deal with talent applicants professionally and in good faith.
• Postings that violate these terms will be removed and your account may be suspended without notice.

The following actions are not permitted on goat grids under any circumstances:

• Creating fake profiles or impersonating another person or organisation
• Sending spam or unsolicited bulk messages to other users
• Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against other users
• Uploading content that violates copyright, trademarks, or third-party rights
• Scraping or using automated tools to access the service without our written permission
• Attempting to circumvent any access restriction or payment requirement, including any that applies to paid features we may introduce in future
• Using the service for any illegal activity

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to goat grids, including your photos, videos, audio files, and written profile content. By uploading content, you grant goat grids a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and deliver that content in the service for the purpose of connecting you with opportunities. This licence ends when you delete your content or close your account. We do not claim ownership of your work. The service itself, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of goat grids and may not be copied or used without our permission.

goat grids does not currently offer any paid features, and we do not charge anyone for using the service. We may introduce paid features in the future. If we do, we will tell you in advance, by email and in the service, and we will publish the terms that apply to them, including the amount, the billing period, and the cancellation and refund terms. We will only charge you after you have seen those terms and expressly agreed to them, and we will never charge you on the basis of these Terms of Service alone. Any payment terms we introduce will include at least the following: you can cancel at any time, your access to the paid features continues until the end of the billing period you have paid for, and no further charges are made after that. Refund requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, without affecting any rights you have under applicable law. Contact us at legal@goatgrids.com if you have a billing concern.

goat grids is an online service that connects talent with productions. We do not guarantee any casting outcomes, job offers, or professional engagements. Any working arrangement agreed between a talent and a production through the service is a direct agreement between those two parties. goat grids is not a party to it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, goat grids is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

These Terms of Service are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Egypt. Any disputes arising from your use of the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Egypt.

Your private messages are not read routinely. However, you agree that a small number of goat grids staff may open a message thread on a read-only basis in order to investigate a safety report, such as harassment, a scam, or an adult approaching someone under 18, or where we are required to by law. Staff cannot send, edit or delete anyone’s messages, must record a written reason before anything is shown to them, and every access is written to an audit log.
