What the festival came through

The whole story
2021A fire broke out the day before the opening. The festival opened on time.

On 13 October 2021, in part of the plaza hall set up for the opening events.

2022The year with no festival.

In June 2022 the sixth edition was postponed: a pause, in the festival's own words, not an end.

2023An edition moved to December, for Gaza.

It ran from 14 to 21 December 2023, with fewer celebrations and a new strand, Window on Palestine.
